We were tasked with developing a durable urban hub in Krottenbach, in Vienna’s 19th district Döbling, to enhance the Neighborhood’s social and cultural fabric. The hub will counteract commercial displacement and gentrification while fostering community. The goal is to create adaptable, multifunctional spaces, including event venues for 300-500 people and accessible public areas, with a focus on improving local recreational opportunities.

Vision

This was to design a building as a vibrant community hub where people of all ages can come together for events, art galleries, and social gatherings. It offers spaces for creativity through various workshops and venues to enjoy concerts, lectures, coffee, and dinner dates.
